Q: Where are you located?
AIA Nevada is located on the Southeast corner of the UNLV Campus, in Rooms 135 and 136 in the Paul B. Sogg Architecture Building. From the corner of Maryland Parkway and Tropicana, go one block West and turn right onto Brussels Street. The Sogg Architecture Building is the building on your right.

Q: What are your office hours?
AIA Nevada is open from 9AM to 5PM daily, and closed during lunch 11:30 to 1:00PM. We are a small office with 3 employees and sometimes we are required to be out of the office. Since we are located in the School of Architecture, it is a good idea to call ahead (702.895.0936) to make sure the school office as well as our offices are open before you come.
Q: How do I get licensed in the state of Nevada?
All questions regarding licensure should be directed to the Nevada State Board of Architecture.

Q: How can I become a member of AIA Nevada?
The American Institute of Architects comprises some 300 component organizations (chapters) across the country and around the world to serve the needs of U.S. architects at the national, state, and local levels, including American architects working in foreign locales.
Architects and Associates must maintain membership on the National, State and Local levels of AIA.

Q: Where can I get AIA Documents?
Both AIA Las Vegas and the AIA Northern Nevada Chapters offer AIA Contract Documents in hard copy and in electronic format.

Q: How can I contact all the architects in Nevada to introduce my product or service? Both the AIA Las Vegas and the AIA Northern Nevada Chapters provide a listing of members available for rent.
You may also purchase a 2007 AIA Las Vegas Directory and Resource Guide which provides listings of all AIA Las Vegas members. In addition, architectural firms are also listed by project type. The directory provides Firm Profiles which details the size of the firm, kind of projects they have completed, firm philosophy and contact information. The directory sells for $50.00 plus shipping.
